one of our views keeps showing a scroll bar. why???

(of course you cannot answer this question without knowing our screens, so expected answer is: how can we trace where view elements get their position and size from (...having thousands of attributes in the component and all its containers...).

If I were not a newbie on Swing, I would probably know myself where to look, so I am asking the experts now.

Well, what should we say...? Publish the XML (best: an extract) in the forum, and we can check... - this is exactly what you expect as response. ;-)

Sizing is done through an own Swing layout manager which follows (at least: to big parts) the HTML table sizing model (mixing % and percentage in rows of container)... This is the "heart of rendering" of the client...

I am nor sure, what to say more as response...
