Hi,
what happens if a FIXGRIDTreeItem is created with parent=null?
Background: I don't want to suppress initialization of items but without displaying them.

...you can do this? The top-item of a tree (the one that is registered with FIXGRIDTreeBinding as root-node) is such a parent-nullitem.

Yes I did it !
I asked because it works without a NPE but I want to be sure to avoid any side affects.
The items should be invisible rows.
