If the t:calendarfield shows a calendar popup, the user can choose a date with a single mouse click on the preferred date and click on the OK button. This is the RISC client behavior.
The Swing client supports furthermore a second way by allowing the user to double-click on the date. In this case the single click on the OK button is obsolete.
Is it in your mind to enhance the RISC client with this second option to choose a date?
The double-click on the date takes no effect. This issue happens with the Internet Explorer (reproducible in the demo workplace).
With the Google Chrome browser a double-click on the date will select the date. But there is still a difference between the behavior of the RISC and Java client. The RISC client doesn't care about the selected hour and minute values. The Java client does.

Can you fix the behavior of Internet Explorer, please?
