Hello Björn,
many thanks for this new state on this topic. I have tried your demo with the old iPhone, that has made problems with the QR-Code scanner. And now it works! So I think it's done.
Happy greetings, Holger

Hi Björn,
are there any news about this topic? In a few weeks, a larger group of students with different mobiles will want to use my app.

For the design of buttons, panels etc. it would be very, very, very nice if the individual four corners of the surfaces could be rounded independently. Would that be time-consuming to design the property similar to that of the border or the inner spacing? For example, like "topleft:0;topright:0;bottemleft:0;bottomright:20". Or does anyone have an idea how else to solve this? It would give you a lot of design possibilities.
Kind regards, Holger

Hi Björn,
i've found a demo-page, where the component runs on iPhone in all browsers (firefox, chrome, safari) without black screen

Hi Björn,
many thanks for your reply. Now we can assume that it has to do with the iPhone itself. I have tried the Chrome browser and Firefox as well. So I think that it also may not have to do with the browser but with the iPhone.
Kind regards, Holger

Hello,
yes, but it seems that's a litte bit old posting. But mayby it gives hints. The post is about the phenomenon of a black area, so I though it might be a problem of version.

Thanks for testing,
I tested it with many different iPhones (from different users) and my own web-application under https. The owners of the iPhones had also checked their system preferences etc.
and I tested it with an iPhone and your appvisitor at https://www.captaincasademo.com/
It is very interesting that it works with the iPad you tested.
??? :/
hmmm ...
Thanks anyway! Holger

Hello Captain Björn,
is it possible, to get an newer version of the jsqr-component integrated? I ask, because the current version shows only a black area in browser on an iOS smartphone or pad?
I have searched hints for that in internet and found that this is fixed with a newer version of the component.
Regards,
Holger

Hello together,
is there already a solution or are there new findings? I have the same problem in Firefox and Chrome. Unfortunately, it confuses a user if they have entered the wrong password. He then blames the application and suspects the problem there. I have not yet been able to find a setting that solves the problem.
Greetings
Holger
