Ahhhh,

I`ve found the problem! The combobox is embedded in a Fixgrid, and the property multiselect was true. If I switch to false, everything works fine. No permanent marking anymore. Puh, I´m innocent!
Only the hopping to the end of the list is still mysterious:
If I select the fixgriditem first and then open the list, everything`s ok
If I click to the little button to open the combobox without selecting the item, the last entry in the list is selected.

OK, I`ve found another editable combobox in our code, which does not mark the text again and again. So this seems to be my mistake

But the whole text there is not readable, too

And I still get headache from working with your DARK editor

Hi Björn,

there are some things, I`ve noticed in behaviour of comboboxes:

- If you click in it whith the mouse, the whole text is marked, even if I try to mark just a part of it. Only if you do something with the keyboard you can edit the text (of course in this case it`s a editable combobox) This is very irritating, if you just want to delete a part of the text which is selected in the combo, but you delete the whole text.

- If you open the combobox, there is always selected the last entry in the list. I would expect that the same entry is selected which is in the field. Or no entry if there is no correspondant entry in the list

- The dropdown list should be scrollable, if there are long textes in the list, they cannot be read

I want to open a OKPopup with a long text. At the moment the text is cut. Would it be possible to get a scrollbar, if the text is too long for the popup?

I`ve tested the new version and unfortunately I need to tell you, that I still got the error...
On my server side I get some binding exceptions. I think, the reason is that I have no database-objects, isn`t it? And I had opened some jsps which are used as inner-pages. Maybe that is associated to the error...?

it is not well-defined to reproduce. I have two jsps openend in the enterprise client. Both are previewed and I clicked into the design, the tree and the attributes. When switching to the other layout by clicking on the tab, the error is happening. But not with every click, that`s why reproducing is a little difficult. But I can be sure it WILL be happening anytime. Since yesterday I did not close the enterprise client in a normal way...
Hope the description is a little helpful...

I had this error a few times now, too. It is really irritating, because you loose the changes in the layouts.

I`ve tried your bugfix from yesterday, now the comoboxes are selected, if the little arrow-button is clicked. But now I have a problem with editable comboboxes: they flip out just for a very short moment, if you click the button, the they are closed again. So it is not possible to select a element in the combobox. If the combobox is not editable it has the normal behaviour.

if our icon-buttons are disabled, they have still a rollover and click effect. The metheod are not called, but the visual effects still word. I think, those effects should only work, if the buttons are enabled.

I think you have already fixed the Tequila-problem, i cannot reproduce it any longer

The focus- problem is much better with the shading of grid-internal labels, now you can at least identify where the focus is and click out.
But why you must tab twice at the grid columns?
I would wish more shading-effects when the controls get the focus with tab, for example for buttons, links, foldablepane, ... etc pp, because the shading really simplify the identification of focused controls. Ideal would be a optimized contrast of the shading. In our dark controls it is more difficult to see than in the light controls.

we didn`t change anything, too ;-) It does not work in the designer, but only with Courier, if I use "Times New Roman", the font family is changed.

Hi Björn,

I want to change the font of a datagrid (header and internal labels) to Courier.
I use this code in the bean:
tag.setFont("family:Courier");
but nothing happens. I know that it did work some weeks ago (2-3?). Did you change anything? I just want to use a font with the same width for every character.
