This is taken from a mail becaus it's of general interest.

When working with the first 1.1 release (1_1_20080111) then the default style was not correctly selected on server side. Please create file /eclntjsfserver/config/sessiondefaults.xml (by copying from the template within the same directory) and select the style "default".

...then also quite a lot of messages disappear from the log...
