In a combobox with editable=true it's possible to enter a character and the first item in the combobox beginning with the entered character is selected.

Is this implementation for comboboxes with editable=false also possible?
A lot of customers have asked for that.

...this is automatically done by the comboboxes. See e.g. demo workplace.

Oh sorry, I mixed the settings.

I meant:
If editable=false, it's working. But if editable=true, it is not working.

No, this is not supported by the Combobox for this case.

Please check the possibilities that you have with COMBOFIELD (Workplace > Components > Field > Value Help, the input of name at the bottom of the demo). Maybe this is also an option?

The auto-flush example seems to be interesting.

But if i enter a character, nevertheless the whole list is offered.
I would expect that the list is reduced to all texts beginning with the entered character or that the first text beginning with the entered character is selected.

Hi,

maybe you tried with the wrong character? If there is no match for a certain character then all items are shown, try "M" etc.

Ah, I see, the value input is case-sensitive
