Hi!

Starting with a new EC (Jakarta-version).

First Maven Projekt with "Jakarta - CaptainCasa default project" = works.

Second Maven projekt "JEE - CaptainCasa project with Spring-managed beans" throws

Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.servlet.ServletContextListener

javax.* should be jakarta.* - I'm a little bit confused.

The question is: Is "Spring-managed bean" project creation allowed in Jakarta-Version of EC?

Hi Joachim,

currently the Spring version is bound to JEE (not Jakarta).

We did not test Spring with Jakarta yet... - you may of course do it! ;-) But if you want to develop and not research, then stay with the JEE line, currently.
