Is it possible to set some global settings that buttons with concrete class do not show image at all, even they are set?

well, to have a simple response to your question would be "too much"! ;-) Specific attribute definitions are always overriding style class/variant based definitions.

...but: remember, there is the feature of updating any component tag by default macros. So you can update any component information before it is processed on server side. See: https://www.captaincasa.com/docu/eclnt_risc_developersguide/all.html#defaultmacrosmacrosthatarealwaysapplied

This is typically used for assigning values to not-filled-attributes. You may of course also use this mechanism to remove filled attributes...
