Hi,

last year we offered some one-day-courses the day before and after the meeting. Even though both courses were fully booked we decided that this year we do NOT offer such additional courses.

What's the reason?

The main topic of this year is the RISC-HTML client - and here, of course, the main question is: how can I transfer my Java-client to the RISC-HTML client. The experience of the projects, that have transferred so far, is:

1. the transfer is very simple ;-) - there is no change in "99%" of the programming concepts. So there is nothing to educate on this...!

2. the main issue is the transfer of the styling from a style.xml based styling to a .css based styling. And this is quite individual: many of you have taken over the CaptainCasa styling - so the effort here is low. You just have to adapt to the updated styling. Some of you have created some own styling - and here you have to dig down into your styling concepts and find their representation in CSS.

All the basics of transferring to RISC-HTML and also on the styling are part of the "big" community meeting. So there is no necessity to repeat in coursed.

So we said: better concentrate on the one day "for all"!
And if there is the necessity of further education, then we will do this in workshops at your site, so that we can individually work with your product.

Regards, Björn
