We internally use it for exchanging information with some users/customers.

It's built with CaptainCasa (what else... ;-)...), uses the FX client and can be started in Windows system using the "launcher", that does not require an up to date Java to be installed locally. - If you have Java 8 installed you may also start via JNLP.
