Feature request: more powerful autocompletion  XML

Hey,

We need a more powerful autocompletion. The current one only takes two literals (name and description) and displays it own its own way.

It would be great if I can create a row like in grids and use a pane with different components inside like images, text (with different font definitions) and so on...

We want to build a global search that has the power to search different types of objects and display them in nice way. Each object has it representive picture that should be displayed in front...

Is that possible?

Hi,

then you should work with FIELD or COMBOFIELD and use the FLUSH managemenet together with FLUSHDURATION.

You can then create any type of interaction you like...

Is it already possible to build the area underneath where I can scroll threw the search results?

...yes: use a MODELESSPOPUP with "undecorated=true" and with "closeonlclickoutside=true"...
