Dear community

How to reproduce

1 Open one of the attached spreadsheet
2 Mark the colored area and press CTRL-C
3 Open "CaptainCasa Demo Workplace > Components > Straight Controls > Text Input/output > Text Area"
4 Make sure the Text Area has got the focus
5 Press CTRL-V
6 Result = The spreadsheet information gets inserted = Ok

7 Open "CaptainCasa Demo Workplace > General > Client Clipboard > Setting/Getting clipboard content"
8 Press "Show Clipboard Content"
9 Result = No spreadsheet information gets inserted = Not ok

I expected the same result as before. Did I misunderstood something?

Thanks and with best regards
PATRICK

Hi,

(nice to hear from you!)

We cannot reproduce what you describe - so far.
After opening your files with Excel / OpenOffice and pressing "Show Clipboard Content" the copied information is transferred...

Anything special, we have to be aware of?

Servus Björn

I am able to reproduce this on my Windows 7 installation and also on my Linux-Box.

Maybe it make sense to take a closer look on that?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

...after screen sharing session, I see that there is a dependency from the amount of data. For "some cells" there is no problem, for "all cells" (not too many, though), there is a problem.

We will check.

Thanks + regards, Björn

Hi,

we found the problem... Fix is available in next update (or earlier on your request).

Thanks!

Servus Björn

After I've installed your last official update it works fine.

But on http://www.captaincasa.com/ you should also update the demos section (still not working there)

With best regards
PATRICK
