Hi Björn,
why do disabled fields look like enabled fields? A combobox is greyed, it would be great if a field would do the same.

Hi Agens,
simple (but maybe not very good) response: because this is the default behaviour of swing components. We can update this behaviour.
In order to not offend existing users we'll open up a new attribute "disabledbackground" - which then can be set centrally using styles.

OK, we re-thought: the handling with "disabledbackground" is a bit difficult. Most of you expect it much simpler...: field enabled, ==> draw a bit darker...
We now added this feature for FIELD, COMBOFIELD, TEXTAREA.
