"Suddenly", my project became corrupted. Two errors manifest in the project explorer:
- I can't create new jsp files, see attachment
- I can't start the layout editor. When I double-click some jsp file, no layout editor appears. The only responses are in the status bar "Either select Preview or Save for refreshing the preview area" and in the server console the "onRowExecute" message.

Other (test) projects work fine. I have reinstalled captain casa, but this didnt help.

Any hints?

Hi,

please have a look into the server log.
The server log is (by default) locatged in tomcat/work/ - then choose the directory that corresponds to your web application.

Thanks! Björn

Hi levy,

sounds like a problem I had some time ago.
In my environment the problem was that the folder of my deploy directory was read-only. After granting write access, everything worked fine again.

Hi,

in addtion, we updated the "copy-error-behaviour" a bit. Now, errors during copying will cause log messages ot be written, but do not crash the whole system anymore...
