Hi,

we are using Apache Cayenne as ORM framework.
This framework requires
commons-collection in version 3.1
commons-logging in version 1.1

would it be possible to update this libs in general?
I'm working with this version, since a year and had no problems with CC framework?

regards
Markus

...can do so: but not with the next update - but as a part of a general upgrade of libraries. We have to handle this with great care + good communication in order to avoid double-occurances of libraries etc. (I do not have to tell you...)

Just as a reminder: Ivy is a good tool for managing dependencies. It handles different versions of the same lib correctly.

Remember my presentation on the Captain Casa meeting two years ago. ;-)
